Terms & Conditions

Effective Date: 11/08/2025

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the use of my tutoring services and website. By booking lessons with me, you agree to the following Terms.

1. Services Provided

  • I provide private French and Spanish tuition in Spanish tailored to your individual learning needs.

  • Lessons are available either online or in person at an agreed location.


​2. Booking Lessons

  • Lessons must be booked in advance via email, phone or my website.

  • A booking is only confirmed once payment is received (see below).


​3. Payments

  • Lesson fees are communicated and agreed ahead of all bookings.

  • Payment blocks of four, six, eight or ten are available. Once a payment block is decided, you will receive an invoice via email.

  • ​Payment must be made by the due date stated on your invoice via bank transfer or PayPal.

  • Once an invoice is settled, you will receive a payment confirmation email.

  • Should a fee be adjusted, this will be communicated via email and will become effective after a month's prior notice.


​4. Cancelling & Rescheduling

  • At least 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule a lesson.

  • ​Cancellations should be made via email or phone.

  • Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice as well as not turning up for a session will be charged at the full lesson rate.

  • If I need to cancel or reschedule for any reason, I will provide as much notice as possible, and no fee will be charged.


​5. Refund Policy

  • Refunds are only offered if I cancel a prepaid lesson and an alternative time cannot be arranged.

  • ​Block booking fees are non-refundable once lessons have started, except in exceptional circumstances at my discretion.


​6. Lesson Conduct

  • Students are expected to attend lessons on time. Any time lost due to late arrival cannot be added to the session.

  • Any lost time due to myself shall be compensated for by extending a lesson by mutual agreement.

I reserve the right to terminate a lesson or refuse further tuition if behaviour is inappropriate or disruptive.

​7. Lesson Resources

  • I may provide worksheets, notes or digital resources during a session. These materials remain my intellectual property and may not be copied, shared or distributed without permission.


8. Tutor Responsibilities

  • I will prepare resources & activities prior to sessions and sessions will be tailored to meet your needs and/or goals.

  • I will send resources via email when applicable.

  • It is not my responsibility to carry out homework, tasks & assignments on behalf of a student.


9. Student Responsibilities

  • ​You will communicate any specific areas of improvement and/or any support required in advance of sessions to assist me with my planning. 

  • Assignments, exercises or homework are an integral part of tutoring and you should aim to complete any work assigned by myself by the date agreed.


​10. Limitation of Liability 

  • I will provide tuition to the best of my ability but cannot guarantee specific results or exam outcomes.

  • I am not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from the tuition provided.


​11. Privacy and Data Protection

  • I will handle your personal data in accordance with my Privacy Policy and UK GDPR regulations.


​12. Website Content

  • Content on my website (text, images, resources) is for personal use only and may not be copied or used without permission.

  • While I take steps to ensure my website is safe and accurate, I am not responsible for external links or third-party content.


​13. Changes to Terms

  • I may update these Terms occasionally. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Effective Date.”

​Continued use of the Site indicates your acceptance of any revised terms.
